Purchase of Agricultural Land

The possibility of lending for the purchase of agricultural land is given to New Farmers, permanent residents of rural areas, with a preferential interest rate.

The loan interest rate is subsidized for the purchase of agricultural land near the place of permanent residence and at such a distance that there is the possibility of daily access which aims at one or a combination of the following:

  • The creation of sustainable agricultural exploitation.
  • The acquisition of parcels which are inserted in the existing agricultural holding or border with an existing privately owned parcel.
  • The realization of an investment within two years from the inclusion in the program which will have a positive financial result examined independently.

Agro Consulting provides services for the preparation of the necessary agro-economic studies, collection of the necessary supporting documents as well as continuous support throughout the implementation of your investment plans.

Subsidy rate

The amount of the subsidy is:

  • 80% for the inhabitants of mountainous and disadvantaged areas
  • 70% for residents of normal areas

The capitalized value of the aid may not exceed 40.000 euros for the inhabitants of mountainous and less-favored areas and 25.000 euros for the inhabitants of normal areas.

 

What are the commitments of the beneficiaries?

 

  • To maintain the status of a farmer
  • To remain permanent residents of rural areas
  • To keep in their possession the plot of land for which they were subsidized
  • To facilitate the controls of the Services of the Ministry and the Prefecture
  • The interest-bearing installments must be paid on time.
  • In the case of newly arrived new farmers, they undertake to carry out at least 150 hours of training.

 

Supporting documents required:

  1. Agricultural study of the agricultural holding according to its model with no. 362628/6987 / 7-12-1998 of the document.
  2. Photocopy of ID.
  3. Copy of the contract of the parcel / s.
  4. Vendor offer or responsible statement of the applicant stating the information stated in the file that it is true.
  5. Responsible Statement of the applicant stating that the information stated in the file is true, that he is aware of his commitments and obligations from joining the measure as well as the consequences of their failure and that he will submit the contract to the service within thirty days from signing of.
  6. Form stating the fair value signed and stamped by a notary or Tax Office
  7. Topographic Diagram of the parcels to be purchased.
  8. Bank certificate that it intends to lend to him.
  9. Recent E9 form.
  10. E1 form and liquidation of the last three years.
  11. Applicant’s Single Aid Application.
  12. Photocopy of seller / s identity card.
  13. Salesman’s work.
  14. Information on the crops that the plots have had in the last three years and a crop that will be put by a buyer.
  15. Update of Basic Aid amounts.
  16. Portion of mortgage office of privately owned plots of land.
  17. OGA insurance information.

 

Consequences of the breach of the above commitments:

  • Reimbursement of amounts received as unduly paid and any interest-bearing installments are converted into overdue.
  • In case of false declaration in addition to criminal and other sanctions exclusion for a period of 10 years from any form of aid.
