Within the year, the Ministry of Rural Development and Food intends to issue relevant Invitations for Measure 11 “Organic Farming”. Applications for support of candidates will be made on the basis of the crop declaration 2021. The geographical scope is the entire Greek territory.

The first year of commitments for the calls that will be announced is the year 2022.

The Actions that will be announced are the following:

• Action 11.2.1: Conservation aid for organic farming practices and production methods

• Action 11.2.2: Conservation aid for organic practices and production methods in animal husbandry

What are the eligible crops per invitation?

Two invitations will be issued for Action 11.2.1 .

The following crops will be eligible for the 1st call:

Maize livestock,
Maize edible,
Winter cereals,
Medicago sativa, Clover
Other fodder legumes,
Legumes,
Cotton,
Flax, rapeseed, sunflower, sorghum and other arable crops

The following crops will be eligible for the 2nd call of Action 11.2.1:

Olive growing,
Raisin,
Table grapes,
Wine grapes,
Apples,
Nuts,
Citrus fruits,
Aromatic – Medicinal plants,
Pomegranate,
Kiwi,
Figs,
Small Fruits / Forest,
Avocado,
Extensions
Leafy Vegetables – Cross / Bulbous / Carrot / Potato

Who can be considered beneficiaries?

The total budget for all four invitations will be over 400 million euros.
